Make a connector key
Create a scoped key in Your stack, copy it once and revoke it when no longer needed.
Create a key for a client that can connect to MCP with a bearer header.
- Open Your stack and Keys and details on the MCP connector.
- Enter a name so you can recognise the client later.
- Select the permissions it needs and check the lifetime. Management permissions allow ordinary changes to execute directly; protected changes retain human review.
- Press Create a key.
- Copy it now. It is shown once and cannot be recovered.
Use Authorization: Bearer adl_your_key at https://mcp.adaptleads.co.uk. Keep real keys out of committed files and public conversations.
Defaults grant book search, record reads and account reads. Choose additional permissions explicitly rather than assuming every tool is allowed. New tools do not silently widen an existing credential.
Revoke a key when finished. It stops working on the next request. Keys default to 365 days, at most 730. A key cannot create another key or act as the person approving a protected request.
