Keys, sign-in and permissions

Connect using a scoped key or OAuth and explicitly grant any management access you want.

Connect to https://mcp.adaptleads.co.uk with an app-created key or OAuth. Both send Authorization: Bearer <credential>. A connector key is not an app sign-in token.

Create a key

  1. Open Your stack, then Keys and details on the MCP connector.
  2. Name the key and select the required permissions. Read each description before choosing management access.
  3. Choose its lifetime and press Create a key.
  4. Copy the key immediately. It is shown once and cannot be recovered.

The default permissions are book:search, book:read and account:read. New management permissions are separate from older write permissions. A key cannot create another key. Revoke unwanted keys from this window.

Requested consent Access
adapt:read Read permissions.
adapt Reads and existing prepare-only write permissions.
adapt:manage Reads, preparation and explicit management permissions. Protected actions still need a person's review in Adapt.

Existing credentials are not automatically upgraded, including refreshes. Use a fresh consent flow when you want management. Normal account roles and workspace checks still apply.

OAuth accepts public clients with PKCE S256, exact registered redirect addresses and the resource https://mcp.adaptleads.co.uk/. Loopback redirects support local clients. Codes last five minutes, access tokens one hour and rotating refresh tokens 30 days.

Keys default to 365 days and can last at most 730. Suspended, closed or unauthorised accounts cannot keep using their credentials. See Permissions and limits, Connector security and Errors and what they mean.
