Where API and connector changes are listed
How changes to the connector's tools and permissions are announced, and what is not versioned.
Dated changes to Adapt Leads, including new connector tools, are listed in the What is new section of this help centre. That is the only place changes are announced.
What is not versioned
- The connector has no version in its address. Tools are added and descriptions change. A tool's name and permission have stayed the same once released, but there is no promise.
- The app's routes are private and change with the app. See How the app's API is organised.
- New tools never widen an existing key. A key keeps exactly the permissions it was created with, so a new tool that needs a new permission cannot be reached by an old key.
How to stay in step
- Call
tools/liston start-up and use the names it gives you rather than a copy kept in your code. - Treat an unknown
errorvalue in a tool result as a failure, and log it with itsrefif it has one. - Compare against MCP connector tools, which is rebuilt from the code, to see what a given release holds.
Counts you may see quoted
Older pages quoted 37 or 92 tools. Those are not the current catalogue. Use tools/list and the release-generated developer catalogue for current names and schemas. See MCP tool groups and capability discovery.
