What the MCP connector is for

Read Adapt data, manage permitted work directly or request a bounded agent job from an external assistant.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets an assistant use Adapt tools with your account's permissions. Connect at https://mcp.adaptleads.co.uk using OAuth or an app-created key.

Need Use
Read a record, report, saved job or context A direct read. It does not start another Adapt agent to reason about the result.
Make an ordinary account change A management tool with its required permission and application checks.
Send, publish, restore or another protected change Prepare the exact action and return its human review link.
Continue a specialist task later An explicit bounded agent request, then read its job and result.

Coverage includes the book, lists, campaigns, LinkedIn, calling, CRM, workflows, reporting, settings, team and agents. Availability depends on the release, tool, consent and account role. This is not unrestricted database access.

Call tools/list for actual schemas. The developer catalogue lists names, inputs, permissions, costs and review requirements. An old count is not a coverage guarantee.

Direct reads and ordinary changes do not automatically invoke another reasoning agent. Explicit writing, research or agent requests can use AI or other paid work. Check their cost class and contract.

New management permissions are separate from older prepare-only write permissions. Existing connections are not silently upgraded. See Keys, sign-in and permissions and How protected MCP actions reach you for approval.
