A copy of your records,
in your own Drive.
Connect Google Drive and Adapt saves a copy of your CRM records there every night. You hold your own copy, in your own account, whatever happens.
Drive backup is new, and we are still fine-tuning exactly what each backup holds.
Your own copy, without the effort
A fresh copy, automatically
Adapt saves a copy of your CRM records to Google Drive every night, so there is always a recent copy you hold yourself.
In your own Drive
The files sit in a folder in your Google Drive. You can open and download them. The newest 14 completed copies stay in the backup folder; older ones move to your Drive bin. Save a separate copy if you need to keep it longer.
Only its own files
Adapt asks Google for the narrowest permission there is. It can see and change only the files it created, and nothing else in your Drive.
Your data, with clear limits
Included
Your CRM records and set-up, including archived records and private notes and tasks. Supported account lists, campaigns, LinkedIn work, chats and settings are also included. Check the current inclusion list in Settings, then Backup.
Private data and exclusions
Private notes and tasks are included in the organisation’s backup. Held and bank details can be readable in the copy. Supported attached files and eligible Adapt Outreach email data are also included. Privacy-erased people, passwords and access keys are excluded. Check each run’s manifest for omissions or limits.
Connect once, then forget about it
- 1
Connect
An owner or admin signs in with Google and approves. Each organisation has its own connection.
- 2
It runs by itself
A copy of your records is saved every night. There is nothing to remember or schedule.
- 3
Stop whenever you like
Disconnect in Adapt and the backups stop. Files already in your Drive stay yours.
Questions, answered
Who can connect Google Drive?
An owner or admin of the organisation. The connection belongs to the organisation, not to one person's login.
Can Adapt see the rest of my Drive?
No. It uses the narrowest permission Google offers, so it can only see and change the files it created itself.
Where do the backups go?
Into a folder in your own Google Drive, under your own Google account.
What if I disconnect?
The nightly copies stop. Anything already saved to your Drive stays there, and you can delete it yourself.
Is this a full restore tool?
No. It gives you a copy of supported data, with exclusions shown in Backup. There is no customer Drive-import restore or schedule editor. CRM restore points and workflow versions are separate recovery tools.
Keep a copy of your own.
Connect Google Drive and let the nightly backup do the rest.
