Approval cards and connected assistant reviews
Read the exact action and its result. A review link alone does not approve work.
An approval card or focused review page shows the exact prepared action for your decision.
Read the title, values, affected work, destination, warnings and expiry. Use the approval button only when the action is right, or cancel it. A card belongs to your account and workspace and can run once.
For MCP requests, opening the review link displays the request. Approval requires a separate signed-in click. The external assistant cannot approve itself.
If the target or content changed after preparation, a protected action can be refused. Prepare a fresh request to review the current work. Expired actions also need a fresh request.
Read the result
Waiting means no execution yet. Completed means the recorded action finished. Failed or unconfirmed outcomes need inspection before retrying. An error does not imply every earlier step was reversed.
Actions differ. A saved draft is not sending; archive is not permanent removal; Undo saved draft is not message recall. Read the action's warning and application checks.
Ordinary MCP management operations can execute directly after separate consent. See How protected MCP actions reach you for approval for that boundary and Review what an agent prepared for agent work.
