Every AdaptLeads record is a single, de-duplicated profile of a UK business, assembled from many inputs and graded 1–5★ by how much of it we can prove. Here's what a full record can hold.
The same business shows up across public registries, Companies House and licensed business data — spelled differently, at different addresses, with different contact details. We match those records on the company number and address, merge them into a single profile, and keep every value we find rather than throwing detail away.
Every email is checked against the receiving mail server, then labelled: deliverable (safe to send), risky (uncertain), catch-all (the domain accepts anything, so it can't be confirmed) or undeliverable. Only deliverable addresses can be exported. A guessed or catch-all address is never sold as verified — that's the line we don't cross.
The grade is the weakest proven link in a record — it never flatters the data. You see it on every lead before you export, so you always know what you're buying.

It re-checks records against Companies House for status and officer changes, finds new decision-makers, and re-verifies emails against the mail server so a "deliverable" label stays true. As coverage improves, grades move with it — and the grade you see is always the current one.
